Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Lansing is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lansing follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

New to the Lansing area, I’d been hearing so many great things about this restaurant, so I decided to bring my parents and my two-year-old to give it a try. It did not disappoint! The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and so helpful with recommendations. When my toddler accidentally broke a plate, everyone was so understanding and quick to help, which made us feel completely at ease. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was packed with flavor and exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish, and this will definitely be one of our go-to spots. We can’t wait to come back!

Somedays are made for soup. Others are for fish sandwiches and shrimp on toast, or crabby eggs Benedict. Whatever the mood, this place had us covered. Friendly service, ample parking, and beautiful natural light coming through the front windows.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Soup Spoon never disappoints! I always have to get a cup of soup whenever I visit, and this time I went with the Classic Chicken Noodle—absolutely delicious and full of flavor. I topped it off with the crab cakes, which were the perfect addition and so tasty! Beyond the food, the service was fantastic and the atmosphere is a vibe all on its own. Warm, welcoming, and a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent food with an outstanding selection of breakfast, lunch, dinner items. Staff is attentive and super friendly. I had Allan’s Smoking Scramble… absolutely delicious, very smoky which I love. My husband had the blackened tenderloin salad. Equally delicious. Highly recommend.

This was our first time ever and the food and service was excellent! Our server was also very accommodating. We went there for lunch and I ordered the soup plate and my husband ordered olive kobe burger. I did order baked bread but I can't remember the name. We would definitely return in the future!
